I Built a PC Inside an PS4 Slim!
Building a full PC inside a console sounds impossible, but that’s exactly what this PS4 Slim project is all about. Instead of using the PS4 Slim as a traditional console, I decided to completely transform it into a fully functional gaming PC while keeping the original PS4 Slim exterior. From the outside, it still looks like a normal PS4 Slim, but inside, everything is completely different.
The first step was carefully disassembling the PS4 Slim and removing all of its original components. Space inside the PS4 Slim is extremely limited, which made this build incredibly challenging. Every part had to be carefully selected to fit within the tight dimensions of the PS4 Slim case. To make this work, I used ultra-compact PC components, including a mini motherboard and low-profile cooling.
Fitting everything inside the PS4 Slim required cutting, adjusting, and redesigning parts of the internal layout. Airflow was one of the biggest challenges, since the PS4 Slim wasn’t designed to cool PC hardware. I had to modify vents and carefully position fans to keep temperatures under control.
Once everything was installed, the moment of truth came—powering on the system. Surprisingly, the PS4 Slim booted up as a fully functional PC. From the outside, it still looks like a standard PS4 Slim, but it now runs PC games instead of console software.
In the end, this project proves that with enough creativity, even a PS4 Slim can be turned into something completely unexpected—a compact and unique gaming PC hidden inside a familiar shell.
