Hubby & Wife play Factorio: Space Age (Part 5: Manufacturing Solar Panels)
Today, we continue our Factorio Space Age adventure with a major expansion of our primary base. I build a large refinery to ramp up battery production and clear surrounding areas of bugs, setting up gun turrets with max ammo to prevent them from reclaiming cleared spots. I also start mass-producing solar panels to keep our base powered during the day. We ran into some copper shortages, so I expanded our copper fields a bit to the north, but it was close enough not to need a train. Finally, I increase the capacity of our steam-powered engines to support our growing power demands.
