Jonathan Simple — Mid Lane Montage
Wow I can't believe I'm back on YouTube so quickly. How have you all been? A lot has happened between now and the last video (published 5 months ago). College life is definitely greuling and that makes finding time to play League and do video editing really hard.
Living in the States for the first time is quite an experience. Although it's not as much of a cultural shock as it should be since I stay in my dorm for the vast majority of my free time (doing homework, playing League, watching anime, and recently — video editing). The difference between 20 ping and 200 ping was definitely the most shocking factor.
This video's format is a little bit different from before, so I decided to start a new series. The fact that I cannot stream still hasn't changed. In fact, my poor Mac could barely handle keeping After Effects and Premiere Pro open. So that means the videos won't have any of the usual banter; instead it will be more gameplay based (which should now be easier with 20 ping). To compensate for the lack of individuality, I've started to learn Adobe After Effects, which is a really powerful tool that makes a fine raw clip to a flawless masterpiece. I hope you guys would enjoy this new series.
I would like to thank Nicetryian's Adobe After Effects Tutorial. It has taught me nearly all of the core skills necessary to make this video.
This video also wouldn't have been possible without the new replay system on the beta client. It has an in-built recording function that makes grabbing clips a lot easier now.
