In this video we consider a problem in Relative Motion which come under the section called Distance of Closest Approach. This is an interesting problem, in which most students have doubts in general.

Two particles P and Q are launched simultaneously as shown in figure. Find the minimum distance between particles in meters.

The aim of this channel is to develop an "Intuitive Understanding" of the students in Physics, in addition to the mathematical one. Intuition as a faculty of human consciousness is as important (if not far more superior) as Logic/Mathematics. Intuition gets us to the ideas, with logic and mathematics we test and prove those ideas. Intuition gives us a hunch to the solution and the result, with logic and mathematics, we carve the path to get there. Intuition works faster than logic, so having an intuitive understanding in addition to Logical and Mathematical ones, deeply helps a student not only in problem-solving but also in building a greater understanding of Physics. Intuition combined with Logic can do wonders.
