Claude Code for more than vibe coding in Drupal? A peek into the possible future of Drupal AI
By now you must have heard of Claude Code. It's taken the world by storm with many alternatives from the other provides and open source versions like OpenCode.
But is it just for writing code? To some degree the Claude Code runtime has become one of the best agentic frameworks with its memory, skills, tool usage etc.
So can we use it for more than just writing code, but for automation and helping with content or search in Drupal?
Enter the Claude Agent SDK.
Jamie has been working with the AI Initiative since the beginning and is focusing on the innovation side of it, looking at what works and what might happen in the future. As a non developers he has gone a bit crazy with the new power of Claude Code allowing him to build his ideas.
This session will take you through what Claude code is, how he uses it and what it can mean for Drupal. We'll discuss the initiatives forming for helping developers work with Claude Code faster but also experiments with getting Drupal to connect and talk to Claude Code directly. Maybe this is the future of Drupal AI.
