Oecophylla smaragdina weaver ants get a new formicarium
Today our Oecophylla smaragdina colony is moving into its new, planted formicarium. The Asian weaver ant species prefers to nest in living plants. With the help of a silk produced by their larvae, the workers pull leaves together and weave them into a cocoon-like nest.
