Desert Skin System - Embankment Protection for Al Batinah Expressway in Oman
This new expressway in Oman connects Muscat and the Khatmat Malaha border crossing. The embankments along the eight-lane highway are protected against erosion with the Naue Desert Skin System.
Installing this system instead of grouted rip-raps enabled a more cost-effective and faster finalisation of the project than planned.
