MULTISTAR employs a revolutionary damping concept, which comprises three spindle shafts bolted into a floating central star, which connects them all into a single unit, suspended in rubber dampers. In contrast to other 3-blade heads, this design brings some exciting advantages to the table:
•All blades flying in a single, well defined tip path plane
•Reduced coning and therefore disk area loss at high thrust levels
•Cyclic control remains in phase across the entire cyclic range
•Much more stable, well defined and linear flight feel
•Greater high speed stability
•Wide RPM range without wobbling, resonance or other kinds of shaking, perfect for styles ranging from smooth scale flying to hard 3D
•Sleeker look for scale builds
The MULTISTAR 3-blade head also features a counterbalanced swashplate driver, reducing the vibration typically caused by an asymmetric swashplate driver layout to a minimum. Together with new, extended blade grips, which increase the disk area and enable convenient and complete blade folding, a dedicated 3-blade swashplate, and the RotorTech 362mm Triblade set (RT-360-3), MULTISTAR is a fully fledged triblade package for your M4, which you can just bolt on and fly without any further modification to the helicopter!
