This video demonstrates, through animation, how the sum of interior angles of a polygon is (n-2)X180 degree. It is a generalized way and is applicable to find sum of interior angles of any polygon, such as pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, in fact any polygon.
This is another approach to prove the same thing. In this approach, we do not need to think too much about how to form multiple triangles inside a given polygon, which is a problem in the approach where we try to create (n-2) triangles inside a polygon.
