When we filter data, normal function applied on the whole range does not produce the result on the filtered rows. In this situation, we can use SUBTOTAL. But SUBTOTAL does not work on all functions, for example, for XIRR, SUBTOTAL cannot work. So this video demonstrates use of subtotal, its limitation, and solution of its limitations using QUERY function.
