The topic we have today is how to group numerical values by creating a category column so we can create Slicers to filter them.
I use Vlookup approximate match to create the categories. You may use the now more popular XLOOKUP instead but I am more at ease with VlookUp when using "approximate match" only. In all other lookup cases I will use the XLOOKUP.
Grouping numerical values is important in cases where we want to filter transactions based on their values. In this cases, I have a list of items with price and I want to know what items falls into price buckets I created.
At the end we will learn how to format slicers so colors will dynamically change when hovering or selecting values.
