Horse Trailer Video 2
Part 2 of our horse trailer camera installation video series details the installation of the camera interface harness that ultimately connects the camera installed inside the trailer to the video interface behind the dashboard of the truck which enables the video feed from the camera to be viewed by the driver on the original equipment SYNC 3 LCD screen while in transit. This harness includes a coil cable which can be connected when the trailer is attached to the truck and disconnected and stored when unhooking the trailer.

------------------------- Installation Steps -------------------------
Step 12
Use screw mount cable ties to attach the slack from the camera's 10-meter extension harness to the underside of the trailer's exterior.
Step 13
Using selfing-tapping screws, attach the trailer's mating connector to the frame near the trailer's coupler.
Step 14
Apply dielectric grease and thread together the trailer and camera extension harness 4-pin connectors.
Step 15
Use self-tapping screws and screw mount cable ties to attach the remaining slack from the camera and trailer extension harnesses to the body and frame of the trailer.
Step 16
Select a suitable mounting location on the underside of the bumper for the coil harness interface connector. Drill pilot holes that match the bracket and then screw in the bracket.
Step 17
Attach the coil harness interface connector to the mounting bracket using the included screws, lock washers, and nuts.
Step 18
Connect the coil harness between the trailer and vehicle-side connector.
