Steam train, restaurant, and craft brewery in Campos do Jordão: Bambuí Park
Campos do Jordão was the destination for the new Dakar Overland Club meeting to celebrate Marcio's birthday and the arrival of winter!
During this visit to the city, we chose Bambuí Park to spend the day!
Bambuí Park is a leisure complex located a few minutes from the center of Capivari. With over 300,000 square meters of lush forest, it houses a restaurant, Casa Bambuí. We arrived there on a beautiful 1920s steam train.
We savored exquisite dishes prepared by the renowned chef to the sound of a grand piano. It was a pleasant and relaxing time, where we met new members of the Dakar Overland Club and reunited with travel friends.
After lunch, a few meters from the restaurant is GÅRD Bambuí, a craft microbrewery that produces high-quality beers. We suggest ordering the tasting flight to choose your favorite beer!
It was a delightful day in the Serra da Mantiqueira mountains, exploring a part of Campos do Jordão we hadn't yet visited!
