After passing the provisional hero license exam, Izuku "Deku" Midoriya is looking for an extracurricular internship at a professional hero agency. At the recommendation of his mentor, All Might, Midoriya becomes Sir Nighteye, All Might's former partner.
While Midoriya's classmates hone their abilities through various internships, the up-and-coming villain Kai Chisaki uses his terrifying powers to gain favor in the criminal underworld. Chisaki's ambitions, known as Monica's Overhaul, clash with the League of Villains and its leader, Tomura Shigaraki.
Through his work with Lord Nighteye, Midoriya uncovers Chisaki's criminal organization and its villainous rivalry with a mysterious girl named Eri. Fearing the child's safety, Midoriya and his upper-class friend Toogata Mirio must work together to end Chisaki's reign of terror.
