Centralized Office Device Control: One HMI for AV, Lighting, and More (TPD-43H + IR-210)

In modern offices, managing multiple device groups—conference room AV, lighting zones, HVAC controls, and other electronics—can quickly become time-consuming and inconsistent. In this video, we cover a practical solution that simplifies device management using the TPD-43H touch HMI paired with the IR-210 Universal IR Learning Module.

The IR-210 features six independent IR output channels, letting you control multiple devices at the same time. By teaching the IR-210 the commands from existing remote controls, you can replace multiple remotes with a single, centralized HMI interface. That means faster control, better coordination, and a cleaner user experience for shared office spaces.

In the example architecture, the TPD series HMI communicates over RS-485 (Modbus RTU) to the IR-210, plus additional modules like a lighting control module and an industrial sensor—enabling a unified control panel for items like projectors, monitors, air conditioners, electric curtains, room lighting scenes, and environmental monitoring.
