Clown got interesting changes in the recent update.
Now Clown has 6 bottles instead of 4.
The duration of the speed bonus is increased by one second, and the activation time decreases as well.
With a certain build, Clown can be a deadly chase killer.
Especially with these two add-ons:
Make-up kit and Ether 15 vol%
The first one increases the duration of the speed bonus by 2 seconds.
And the second one increases the duration of the slowdown by 1 second.
On top of these add-ons, you can use save the best for last and Rapid brutality for an extra speed bonus.
The main strategy is this one:
Use your yellow bottle before hitting a survivor.
After a hit in total, you will have a 15% speed bonus.
Then slow down that survivor with the purple bottle and get your down.
Doing like this there is no way that survivor can escape from you.
