Madeleine Marchant is one of these women. Madelin is the Miami-based actress from Cuba who plays Ines Campesino, the mother of Rosa Campesino on Apple TV Plus', Bad Monkey. The international crime drama hit stars Vince Vaughn and Natalie Martinez. The 10-episode series was co-created by Bill Lawrence, best known for hits like Ted Lasso and Shrink. A great one to add to your queue, if you haven't seen it. She was a theater teacher for 21 years to middle school students who proved that it's never too late to pursue your dreams. The 62-year-old, single mom is energetic and beautiful. The retired teacher opted to start a second act instead of opting for a quiet life. The leap of faith has certainly paid off!
Her passion for performing arts and the entertainment industry led her to join the cast of the Broadway musical On Your Feet. She played Consuelo, Gloria, Estefan's grandmother at the Gala Theater in Washington, DC. The performance won her praise from the Washington Post, and other critics leading to a nationwide tour. Her second act is keeping her busy and demonstrating that we can reinvent ourselves at any age.
