The following tracks have been replaced by brand new music produced using the same sample libraries and synths that Kenji Yamamoto used during the production of Metroid Prime:
VS. Metroid Prime (Spider)
Phendrana Drifts
VS. Parasite Queen
Artifact Temple
Planet Tallon IV
Tallon IV Overworld
To install the new music files, you will need an ISO of Metroid Prime (you must legally own a physical copy of the game in order to obtain this) and the latest version of Dolphin, the GameCube emulator.
1) Load the ISO into Dolphin and right click on the game's title, then click "Properties".
2) Go to the "Filesystem" tab, right click on "Disc" and select "Extract All Files...". Pick the directory where the extracted game files will be stored. I use "C:\Metroid Prime Mod" but pretty much any directory name will work.
2b) This is optional, but it's probably a good idea to make a backup of the extracted "Audio" folder inside of "C:\Metroid Prime Mod\files", since we'll be overwriting some of the game's original music files.
3) Grab the new music files, place them inside the ""C:\Metroid Prime Mod\files\Audio" folder and overwrite the original music files.
4) In Dolphin, click on the Open button, go to the directory where your game files are located, click on the "sys" folder and then open the "main.dol" file to launch the game.
