With the announcement of Vulkan 1.4 support for the RK3588 with Mesa 25.2, I wanted to test this.

Someone commented that there is a PPA for bleeding edge Mesa. I went with Ernst Persson PPA Almost stable: https://launchpad.net/~ernstp/+archiv...
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ernstp/mesarc
sudo apt update
There is also the Unstable PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ernstp/+archiv...
It is now possible to play 0 A.D. with Vulkan on the RK3588.

But now you have to do the additional step of getting the Vulkan shaders.

Llama.cpp Vulkan is at the moment only working with very small models.

I tested Final Fantasy X with AetherSX2.
Performance has improved compared with the Vulkan 1.2 driver.
The issue that I wanted to show, doesn't get triggered from a save state.
