Gwent | Monsters | Arachas Swarm 11 Power Scholars feat. Lilit's Omen & Yaga
You can't get outclowned on Gwent ladder if you're the biggest clown yourself...
The presented deck is all focused on achieveing high power Scholars. If we do the math, total excess provision is 165 - 25*4 = 65. Each +1 on Scholar requires 11-4=7 excess cost, so the max possible num of 11+ cards is 9, where we use 63 excess provision. In the showcased deck we are only 1 below max Scholar value which is 12 in December 2024 (would be 13 when a leader ability gets buffed to 170 cap or Scholar reverted to 4 power for no reason).
When playing Lilith's Omen into Bloody Mistress + Mammuna make sure to choose BM first. Effects are resolved left to right and if Mammuna takes the hit first you may lose Sabbath for Gernie, which will result in no transform.
In spite of the weird looks, deck felt well and I had good winrate on ladder. Hive Mind is a real powerhorse, Yaga is ready to turn the tables against unaware opponents and Omen combo gives big tempo swing. Sadly it is enough to kill Fruits to stop Gernie going, unlike in Fruits Of Ysgith decks.
