Optica Online Industry Meeting: Photonics-based Quantum Computing
There are currently several approaches to quantum computing, all of which involve photonics in some way, whether lasers for trapping ions and atoms or integrated photonics for creating and manipulating qubits. Photonics will also be essential for networking quantum computers together to reach scale. Where is each approach today and what does it need from photonics suppliers?
