Making Guts' Dragonslayer from Berserk using foam :)

Materials:
EVA foam (around 0.8mm thick)
Foam core board
Thin cardboard
Plastidip (or mod podge for a cheaper alternative)
1 inch PVC pipe (length should be a little shorter than your height)
Any white cloth (I used a pillow case from a thrift store)
Spray paint: black, silver, clear coat
Acrylic hand paint: black, silver
Tools:
Craft knife
Scissors
Hot glue gun + glue
Superglue
Painters tape
Paint brushes
Pens/markers
Sandpaper
Something to cut PVC pipe (PVC pipe cutter or hacksaw)
Optional but strongly recommended: Heat gun, airbrush (w/ black paint), dremel
Blood (optional):
Acrylic paint: red, purple, brown, black
Clear PVA glue (aka school glue)
2 part epoxy
Paint brushes
