Today we wanted to pay tribute to and respect some of the more obscure and underrated workers out there, who are constantly working hard to innovate and create for us to benefit from.
In this first clip, we will witness the expert linesman Joe Chenoweth trying to get a live power line stabilized with no anchor line to draw the electricity downward. This resulted in a 115,000 kilowatt bolt of electricity called a "dragon" jolting out of the stabilizing line they were working on. It looks cool but these types of job are extremely dangerous, so we felt it was about time to pay our respects to these ingenious, amazing workers.
