The Audi Q5 joined the Audi lineup just before the start of the last decade. Beginning in 2009, Audi's midsize crossover launched ahead in terms of sales and drove the crossover craze to success.
Now in the middle of its second generation, the Audi Q5 sticks to the basic crossover formula of sit tall, seat lots and carry more.
Like many of its competitors, Audi trades some potential cargo space in the name of style, with its coupe-like sloping greenhouse. This crossover coupe, as some call it, gets its motivation from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that sends 261 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque via a seven-speed automatic transmission to the Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
