Ans: b
Sol.
Let P(t,(15-3t)/5) be any point on the straight line 3x+5y=15.
∴|(15-3t)/5|=|t|
⇒(15-3t)/5=t or (15-3t)/5=-t
⇒15-3t=5t or 15-3t=-5t
⇒15=8t or 15=-2t
⇒t=15/8 or t=-15/2
∴ Point P lies in 1st or 2nd quadrants.
