Excel Stock Price Custom Function
I’ve created an Excel Custom Function”Market Pricer” that you can use to bring import current Yahoo finance prices for your Stocks, Mutual Funds and ETFs. The video below In this video I demonstrate my Yahoo Finance ‘Market Pricer’ Custom function. It has two arguments the Stock, Mutual Fund or ETF ticker (symbol) and the Market data you are seeking.
1) Market Price
2) Exchange
3) Instrument Type
4) Previous Close
5) Post close Pricing
It uses an VBA httpRequest and Yahoo finance API to Yahoo Finance Pricing.
