Bitcoin 0.16.0 is complete! Giant milestone for Bitcoin
Extremely excited to see that Milestone Bitcoin 0.16.0 is 100% completed. (It was 98% complete the day this video was made)
This will be a major factor for increasing the rate of Segwit adoption. which allows Bitcoin to evolve further and become faster and better for everyone, including all kinds of goodies like the Lightning Network which is becoming more and more of an important force in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
I continue to move along the learning curve and enjoying every step if the way. This milestone is huge for Bitcoin, after waiting months for a Segwit wallet with a GUI, I'm really excited for 0.16.0 to be almost released, I think it will be an impetus for other wallets and other apps in the ecosystem to implement Segwit, thus taking Bitcoin to an entirely new level with smart contracts, Lightning, Drive Chains, Side Chains, Atomic Swaps, Mimble Wimble, and all kinds of emergent uses we haven't thought of yet.
