Launch of the Firearm Relinquishment Restraining Order Violation Notification System and Portal
The Superior Court of Los Angeles County, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office announced the launch of a new automated Firearms Relinquishment Notification System and Portal.
This innovative digital platform streamlines how law enforcement is notified when individuals fail to comply with firearms relinquishment orders, enhancing timely communication and improving public safety across Los Angeles County.
