This is a basic Scratch Practice on the Hercules DJControl Inpulse 500 Gold Edition DJ Controller with nice HipHop / Rap. Right hand is used for scratching, the left hand is used at the crossfader. The crossfader curve was set to sharp.

Some notes about this scratch practice:
The platters of the Hercules DJControl Inpulse 500 are very nice and stable. The crossfader is not as exact as other DJ Controllers, but with a little practice my basic scratch skills are possible. (Please note that the Inpulse 500 is an Entry Level DJ Controller at an entry level price)
