Point a standalone VM to an existing HA DB for StorageLink
You have an existing HA stack of StorageLink, but you want to spin up a separate standalone VM and point it to the same database. This video walks you through this process.
The StorageLink VM can function by itself, or as part of an HA stack. This is determined by flags and parameters passed in via user-data.
With this in mind, you can do things like spin up a single VM, but have it point to an existing database. Just tell the VM that it is in "HA". The VM will then go looking for the external database, based on the db connection information you pass in via user-data.
