S\O to mah girl @cutegirlmayra for helping me with this one! She helped with Amy and Maria's dialogue, which is so fitting for this trope, I couldn't pass it up! When I have writer's block, she's my go-to because she has some of the best IN CHARACTER Sonic fanfiction I've ever read, totally biased but I'm a long-time fan and she's definitely been one of my inspirations. So I don't know if we could even mix the days but I did it anyway for time related purposes and it works so. I decided to continue from Day 1: Hug because I wanted to explore the depth and grounding of this friendship. I mentioned the sibling-like bond Shadow would have with Amy because of the similarities she and Maria may share. I hope I executed it well enough that you understand my POV of their relationship and where it would stand canonically.
I lied and ended up coloring this one anyway lol. There was more dialogue for Shadow but I wasn't happy with it so it got cut. I'm still learning how to write him so bear with me. (gonna have to seek some cutegirlmayra counseling on that one) AND YES SHADOW IS ALLOWED TO SMILE, DON'T @ ME XD
