Headcanon: When there's a thunderstorm, because Sonic doesn't have a door, he camps out at either Tails or Amy's house for shelter. However, after staying at Amy's one time due to Tails not answering the door quick enough, Sonic found he enjoyed Amy's hospitality more, mainly because of the snacks. So now Amy's house has become a default shelter hang out for him.
