Volvo S70 T5 History, Review & Test Drive
The Volvo S70 T5 is a sleeper that may have been overlooked by many Petrolheads in Indonesia. After a little research, we found quite an interesting fact: the S70 T5 has very little difference in specifications and capabilities from the S70R, where the R in Volvo at that time (before Polestar) meant something like the M in BMW and Type R in Honda. This car, in standard condition, is still much faster than the Galant V6-24, Nissan Cefiro, BMW 323, Mercedes C230, and almost all other cars in its class and at the time that might be considered fast by today's Indonesian petrolheads. This car actually also has a strong connection to racing, but this might not be widely known by Indonesians. For its sporty look, this car might not be much noticed (because it might be considered a dad's car), but for true sporty driving, this car might still be faster than some entry-level sports cars. What's more interesting is that on YouTube, many European petrolheads have modified this car by easily replacing the turbo so that it can reach more than 500hp and more than 280KM/h. This car clearly has a natural talent for speed and still has the potential to go much faster. This car has truly been overlooked by many petrolheads in the country.
