History in the Making - New heavy equipment for Benque Viejo
Today was the official handing over ceremony of heavy equipment over to the Benque Viejo Town Council by Hon. Oscar Requena, Minister of Rural Transformation, Community Development, and Local Government. These heavy machinery were obtained by the Benque Viejo Town Council headed by Mayor Jorge Rosales with the support of the Government of Belize. In his speech Minister Requena lauded the work of Mayor Rosales and his team. He had lots of praises for Mayor Jorge Rosales.
