Reviewing BLACK MIRROR S6: Shifting gears but still keeping us hooked

After its final season aired in 2019, #BlackMirror returns this year with five new, truly impressive episodes. Wow, because this year, Black Mirror seems to be innovating its genre. As we know, Charlie Brooker's series has always been steeped in technology, and many even call it "speculative fiction," as technology has become a tool for criticizing current social issues.
But now, Black Mirror is trying to present episodes that don't have a distinctly Black Mirror feel. Perhaps only "Joan is Awful" and "Beyond the Sea" are still very much Black Mirror. The other three episodes are more in the realm of horror, thriller, and supernatural, but they're still good and engaging. Is this a sign that Black Mirror is experimenting? Looking to shift gears to a more diverse genre?
No matter which path you choose, overall, the five episodes offer engaging stories and, of course, always end tragically (except for Joan is Awful, which can be considered a happy ending). It's still fun to follow, and hopefully, we won't have to wait another four years for the next season.
