"There can never be pin-point air strikes in an area that is so densely populated. Any bomb dropped there would certainly result in high civilian casualties. So the bombings have to stop.There is no justification for these continuing air strikes killing civilians."

STORYLINE:
Dozens of Filipino protesters gathered in front of Israel's Embassy in Manila on Tuesday, to denounce the country's continued bombardment of Gaza.
They burned images of Israeli and American flags during the demonstration and chanted "Free, free Palestine."
Protest leader Renato Reyes said that he doubted Israeli claims that their bombing campaign was based on "pin-point air strikes" when the targets were in densely populated areas.
"Any bomb dropped there would certainly result in high civilian casualties," Reyes said.
"There is no justification for these continuing air strikes killing civilians," he added.
As part of global efforts to end the Gaza fighting, UN chief Ban Ki-moon arrived in Cairo on Monday and was to meet with Israeli President Shimon Peres on Tuesday.
United Nations Security Council members also appeared optimistic that a resolution would soon be reached over the continued violence between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
A total of 38 Palestinians were killed in Gaza on Monday, bringing the death toll since the start of Israel's offensive to 111, including 56 civilians.
Some 840 people have been wounded, including 225 children, Gaza heath officials said.
Three Israeli civilians have been killed and dozens have been wounded.
