Turn Multiple Switches into ONE: Configure Virtual Chassis on Juniper
Want to know how to configure two switches to function as one logical device. This video walks you step by step how to configure a virtual chassis on a Juniper EX series switch.
Virtual Chassis Requirements:
1. Same version of code
2. Connect the VC ports
3. Enable split-detection (for two member VC only)
NOTE: the default termination for which switch will become the master is the switch with the longest uptime. You can override the default behavior by manually specifying which switch you want to use by pre-provisioning the virtual chassis config.
