DOS BOSS Overview - MS DOS Gaming Console
I created this device that acts as an MS DOS Gaming Console. You just turn it on and pick games. I wanted to share it on my channel. I will probably put out more videos about how to use it and how to build one. It uses custom software, which, if there is enough interest in the comments, I will make available in a later video explaining the device. (No, it does not use Retropie)
The DOS BOSS is the only streamlined and completely legal way to easily play your favorite DOS games. Simply plug it in and play. Seamless control with an easy to use menu and integrated keyboard/mouse/controller which works with any DOS game.
Unlike other emulation devices, this does not use illegal ROMS, but rather, legal games under a freeware or shareware license. In addition, other offerings are difficult to set up and need to be configured by the user. They typically use some form of Retro-pie which does not work seamlessly with DOS games, without significant configuration. The DOS BOSS is completely different. It is an out of the box solution with menu navigation created specifically for DOS games.
