MMC Community
One of the benefits of being in the Media, Marketing, and Communication scholars program is its strong sense of community. As with all scholars programs, every student in MMC scholars lives together their first year. This allows for students with similar interests to bond and grow together, building strong relationships for years to come.
Along with this students are encouraged to form an MMC Family through MMC Connect, a networking event for first year students to meet upperclassmen in the program.
These families provide relaxed environments encouraging students to explore campus, Columbus, and community service opportunities.
There are also many community events throughout the year ranging from a 24-hour dance marathon to a campus-wide scavenger hunt. By the end of your first year, you will have a close group of friends that will enhance your experience at The Ohio State University.
The mission of the MMC Scholars program is to create a supportive, close-knit residential community while providing students with hands on opportunities to learn digital media skills and to explore career options.
