The only rear-wheel drive in its class, the first generation BMW 1 Series, marketed from June 2004 to September 2011, competed with the Alfa Romeo 147 and Audi A3. His goal was driving pleasure, even if it was achieved at the expense of a little comfort. Available in various configurations, 2/5-door sedan and also coupe and convertible, the 1 Series was appreciated for its brilliant behavior and build quality.
