City of Tallahassee Deploys Resources to Assist with Hurricane Milton Recovery
To aid in recovery efforts following the projected impacts of Hurricane Milton, the City of Tallahassee is deploying resources from critical service areas. Following their recent return home from providing power restoration assistance to Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative after Hurricane Helene, Tallahassee's electric utility and fleet department deployed Tuesday morning. This time, crews are headed to Lakeland, taking with them with a variety of trucks and machinery to stage ahead of Hurricane Milton. Their rapid response and expertise will be crucial in ensuring that power can be restored as quickly and safely as possible to those in need.
