Tatami from horseback
During the international Rossfecht Symposium 2017, members of the ASBL Lucilinburhuc organized a testcutting with sharp swords and historical horsegear. Here the clip to this experiment. As far as we know, we are the first, who tried to use historical sword replicas for cutting from horseback. We took it easy, so that no visiteur, rider or horse get hurt, so our results are not yet absolutely perfect, we will continue training for a better performance. More important than the result was safety, no horse or person get injured during this tests.
