As you might know, I'm doing a 120-day youtube video marketing challenge right now.
So far I've missed 4 days.
And I feel like my last few videos aren't very good and were just rushed out quickly so that I could get them uploaded in time.
And it seems like you can tell from my YouTube analytics for the last few days, too.
In the past, I'd probably be looking at quitting right now.
I'd say F* this, this isn't worth all the time and effort I'm putting in.
I'd tell myself that it's me, that I'm not good enough, that I don't have the chops to make good videos that will drive views and email list sign-ups.
And I'd be lying if I said those same thoughts haven't been crossing my mind lately.
But then I remember all the times I threw in the towel over stupid little hangups like this over the last 10 years.
I remember that because I keep giving up, my family has struggled financially.
I remind myself of the time my wife and daughter flew to California to visit family...
And because my bonus from work was a few hours late we weren't sure if they would have any money for lunch at their layover or money for spending during the trip.
Luckily the bonus came in before they landed, but still...
If I had been taking the consistent focused action I knew I needed I wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place.
And I'm not giving up again so the only other option is to keep going and keep improving over time.
