August 7, 2021, Gretna, Nebraska. See note below about the title. This storm brought rainfall of a rate of 4" per hour. At least one location in the area got over 6" of rain out of this storm. This is the most interesting part of the previously posted time-lapse. The wall cloud approaching and passing over as darkness falls is spooooky.

A lot of people are commenting that this is not a nightmare storm. If by nightmare you mean a horrible destructive storm, then yes. You are 100% correct. The reason for the description I used is because when you look at a classic horror MOVIE, which is the word I used, you see similar scary looking storms. Note the last word in the description. "Spooooky". It doesn't say horrible, destructive or worst storm I've ever seen. The imagery you see in a horror movie is spooky. A time-lapse video of an actually destructive storm does not make a good time-lapse video. And yes, my thoughts and prayers go out to those in the path of tornadic storms. I went down and volunteered in the aftermath of the Joplin, Missouri tornado. The destruction was beyond imagining.
