The SeceuroGlide Excel was the first roller garage door in the UK to receive LPS 1175 SR1 - the rigorous burglary resistance standard from the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB). To achieve a Level 1 security rating, the Excel had to pass a series of timed attacks which go beyond the requirements of garage doors with lower security ratings. This included a more vigorous, violent attack using bodily force and a range of hand tools. Unlike lower security ratings, which are 'stealth' tested, there were no restrictions on how much noise could be made during the test.
