In this demo, we explore how Tulip, in partnership with Software Defined Automation's web-based DevOps solution, empowers seamless and efficient control of automated systems. By triggering configurations on your PLCs remotely via Tulip Automations, you can:

1. Give production managers more control without requiring developer-level permissions in your PLC IDE.
2. Work around strict memory limits and frequent hardware changes by deploying modular configurations.
3. Improve data capture by dynamically updating PLC outputs.

In this example, you're able to access live configuration and monitoring data through OPC/UA and analyze deployment metrics like time-to-deploy and system status. Tulip Automations allow for headless, app-free logic to trigger new configurations and monitor their progress — all without halting production.
