Even before the pandemic hit, restaurant and hospitality workers needed a safety net, someone in their corner, and hope in the midst of a crisis. Nearly half of those working in restaurants live barely above the official poverty line bringing with it the highest levels of addiction, chronic stress, and mental health struggles. So many stories that need a happier ending.
That’s where Big Table comes in. Our care model is completely different on purpose. We tackle triage care to stabilize the situation, but then move into long-term relationships and mentoring. That is where we’ve found the real transformation happens.
