The couples that shop together for an engagement ring, it may not seem romantic, but it may be the brightest thing to do. Because if you're too nervous about going out and buying the engagement ring on your own, making a huge investment, it's maybe the most expensive piece of jewelry that anybody is going to buy for the first time when you're getting engaged. If you want to take her along and just say "will you marry me?" I don't know, just give her a box, give her a rose, give her a bracelet. You know if you're too nervous about the ring, do you take her?
