As a real estate investor with most of my wealth being in real estate, I’ve started to diversify my portfolio into different asset classes such as crypto. I currently hold over $1,000,000 in crypto, with most of that being in Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The first thing you have to do is create an account! The two best places to do so (in my opinion) are Coinbase and Gemini! After creating your account, you are going to have to fund it in order to buy crypto! You can either do a direct deposit or a wire.
At this point, I would give yourself maximum security. I go into detail on how and why I suggest doing this. I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend you do this.
Then, you’re finally ready to buy crypto! I share my thoughts on why I like Bitcoin and ethereum, but of course, whatever crypto you buy is ultimately up to you. I talk about different ways to store your crypto, such as BlockFi.
