With three friends, I went on a road trip through the USA. To be more precise, through four Southern states, and our first stop was Atlanta, Georgia.
I took this trip as part of the "Women on the Road" project, along with Natalie Soares from Sundaycooks and Natalia Manczyc from Porta de Embarque. Below, I'll leave their websites for you.
In this first vlog, I show you what it was like arriving in the USA, picking up our car, and spending two nights in Atlanta. I'll take you with me to the attractions and restaurants I visited. The video ends on the road as we head to Tennessee, and video 2 will be up soon. We used a car provided by Mobility. The company offers several rental options; you compare and choose yours—in this case, it was Avis. For quotes, access here: https://mobility.com.br/b2c/
We spent two nights in the city, but if you're going to have a layover, for example, you can still visit some places. Since the city is a Delta hub, many flights often stop there for hours, and it takes about 30 minutes to get from the airport to the city center to visit.
My favorite part was the Martin Luther King area. I think it's a must-see. I expected more from the World of Coca-Cola. The aquarium is cool, especially for those who have never been to one of its kind in North America. And the first restaurant I'll show you, near the aquarium, is delicious, I highly recommend it!
